Bobby T. Shaw II (born April 23, 1975) is a former professional football player from the United States. He played as a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL). Before joining the NFL, Bobby Shaw played college football for the California Golden Bears. He was recognized as an All-American in 1997. During his NFL career, Shaw played for five different teams: the Seattle Seahawks, Pittsburgh Steelers, Jacksonville Jaguars, Buffalo Bills, and San Diego Chargers.

Early Life and College Football
Bobby Shaw grew up in San Francisco, California. He went to Galileo High School. After high school, he attended the University of California, Berkeley. There, he played college football for the California Golden Bears.
Setting College Records
Bobby Shaw became a star player at the University of California. He set new records for the school. He had 180 catches for 2,731 yards. He also scored 27 touchdowns during his college career. These numbers made him the school's all-time leader in catches.
Success with the Golden Bears
In 1996, Steve Mariucci became the head coach for the Golden Bears. Bobby Shaw really shined under Coach Mariucci. In one game against UCLA, he made 12 catches for 168 yards. He also scored three touchdowns in an exciting triple-overtime win against Oregon State.
After that season, Shaw played in the Aloha Bowl. He scored two touchdowns in that game. For his amazing performance in 1996, he was named to the first-team All-Pac-10. This means he was one of the best players in his college conference.
Becoming a Team Captain
In 1997, Bobby Shaw was chosen as a team captain. This was for Tom Holmoe's first year as head coach. Shaw had another fantastic season. He set new single-season records for the Golden Bears. He made 74 catches for 1,093 yards and scored 11 touchdowns.
Even though it was a challenging year for the team, Shaw helped them win. He had 158 yards and two touchdowns in a 40–36 victory over Oklahoma. He was again named to the All-Pac-10 first team. He also became the third wide receiver from Cal to earn first-team All-America honors. The UCLA Head Coach, Bob Toledo, even called him "the best receiver in the conference."
Professional Football Career
Bobby Shaw was chosen by the Seattle Seahawks in the sixth round of the 1998 NFL draft. This was his start in the National Football League (NFL).
Playing for NFL Teams
Later in 1998, Shaw signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for six years in the NFL. During this time, he was a wide receiver for several teams. These included the Steelers, Jacksonville Jaguars, Buffalo Bills, and San Diego Chargers. He showed his skills as a wide receiver throughout his professional career.
Life After Football
Today, Bobby Shaw lives in California.
