Bodloperka Island is part of the Dannebrog Islands group. This group belongs to the Wilhelm Archipelago, which is found in the Antarctic Peninsula region. No people live on Bodloperka Island.
What Does Bodloperka Mean?
The name Bodloperka comes from the Bulgarian language. It means 'emperor angelfish'. The island was given this name because its shape reminded people of this colorful fish. This naming tradition fits with other islands in the area that also have descriptive names.

The island is positioned near several other islands:
- It is about 650 meters (2,130 feet) northwest of Stego Island.
- It lies 2.3 kilometers (1.4 miles) east-southeast of Skoba Island.
- It is 640 meters (2,100 feet) south-southeast of Sprey Island.
- It is only 175 meters (574 feet) west of Tsankov Island.
