Tsankov Island (which is Цанков остров in Bulgarian) is a small island mostly covered in ice. It's about 625 meters long and 216 meters wide. This island is part of the Dannebrog Islands group, which belongs to the Wilhelm Archipelago in the Antarctic Peninsula region. Its total surface area is about 9.48 hectares.
The island was named after Nikolay Tsankov. He is a skin doctor (dermatologist) who took part in Bulgarian trips to Antarctica starting in 2010 and in later years.

Tsankov Island is located in Antarctica at a specific spot: 65 degrees, 3 minutes, 58 seconds South and 64 degrees, 8 minutes, 38 seconds West.
It is very close to other islands:
