Bonnanaro (pronounced Bon-nah-NAH-roh) is a small town, also called a comune (municipality), in Italy. It is located on the beautiful island of Sardinia, which is a region of Italy. Bonnanaro is part of the Province of Sassari. It is about 150 kilometers (about 93 miles) north of Cagliari, the capital city of Sardinia. It is also about 30 kilometers (about 19 miles) southeast of Sassari, another important city on the island.
Bonnanaro is surrounded by several other towns. These include Bessude, Borutta, Mores, Siligo, and Torralba.
