Bonnie Loo, born on July 12, 1994, is a talented actress and singer from Malaysia. She works in Singapore and is managed by The Celebrity Agency.

Early Life
Bonnie Loo was born in Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia. She is the older of two daughters. She started singing lessons when she was 10 years old. Before that, she had already joined many singing contests since she was 6. Her family moved to Singapore when she was 12. They moved so she could continue her education and for her father's job. Bonnie finished her studies at Riverside Secondary School.
Career Highlights
Bonnie became famous in 2013 after winning the fourth season of Campus SuperStar. This was a popular Chinese singing competition in Singapore. Her win was special because she was the first female winner in the show's history. The show started in 2006. As her grand prize, she received a two-year contract with Mediacorp. She also got $5,000 and a chance to perform with singer Ding Dang.
Acting Journey
In November 2013, Bonnie shared that she would act in the TV show C.L.I.F. 3. She played Yang Hongxi, the daughter of a character played by Terence Cao. She also sang in a Chinese New Year album in 2014. She sang with other young stars like Julie Tan and Ian Fang.
In March 2014, Bonnie announced she would star in a drama called Against The Tide. Later that year, The Straits Times newspaper named her one of four rising female stars.
Bonnie performed for the President Star Charity in 2014. She was part of a dance challenge between different artists.
In 2015, Bonnie acted in Second Chance and Tiger Mum. She then joined Crescendo, playing a younger version of Cynthia Koh's character. She also filmed a long drama called Life - Fear Not. In January 2016, she appeared in House of Fortune.
In 2016, Bonnie played a role in The Dream Job. She acted as the younger sister of Rebecca Lim's character. Her role in Tiger Mum earned her a nomination for Best Supporting Actress in 2016.
Bonnie played Yang Hongxi again in C.L.I.F. 4 in 2016. She also acted in Hero and "Soul Reaper". Her role in "Hero" got her another nomination for Best Supporting Actress in 2017.
In 2017, she filmed Mightiest Mother-in-Law. This role led to her third nomination for Best Supporting Actress. She also finished filming her first main role in My Teacher Is a Thug. She appeared in Life Less Ordinary, which aired in October 2017.
In 2018, she filmed Limited Edition and You Can Be An Angel 3. In 2019, she filmed C.L.I.F. 5. This role brought her fourth nomination for Best Supporting Actress.
At the Star Awards 2021, Bonnie won her first Top 10 Most Popular Female Artistes award. This award is given to popular female artists.
Music Journey
After Campus Superstar, Bonnie appeared in many TV shows and concerts. She was a guest star on The Sheng Siong Show in June. In July, she performed at the PAssion Pop Concert. This concert was part of the People's Association's events. She was also a special guest at the finals of Hey Gorgeous, a talent search show.
Bonnie later signed with S2S Pte. Ltd., a big music label in Asia. She mentioned that she would focus on her singing career after her GCE O-Level exams.
From July to August 2014, she starred in Innamorati. On September 30, 2014, Bonnie released her first song, "Don’t Want To Admit". This song was part of her first album, "Bonnie 羅美儀", released in October 2014. Her second song was "YOLO".
In May 2015, she tried out for the fourth season of The Voice of China. However, she was not chosen to represent Singapore. She performed at The Crescendo Concert in November 2015. This concert showed the history of Singapore Mandarin music. She was nominated for Best Theme Song at the Star Awards 2016 for her song "未知数" from Tiger Mum.
Bonnie was nominated for Best Theme Song again in 2016 for "未知数". She also released a cover of the Korean song "Banmal Song". She made music videos for "守护你" and "等一等爱情" from the drama Hero. In 2017, she was chosen for "Crescendo The Musical. This musical was based on the TV series Crescendo, and she played her role as Ya Fang again.
On December 9, 2017, Bonnie held her first music showcase called "美仪首歌". It took place at the 2mm Talent Hub. She held a second showcase, "Bonnie's Tribute to Singapore Music", in March 2018. This was part of Esplanade's Chinese Festival of Arts.
