To the southwest, you'll find Mill Cove, which is another arm of Boothbay Harbor. A stream from Mill Cove forms the northwest border of the area. This stream runs northeast towards Maine State Route 27. To the northeast, the border is Maine State Route 96, also known as Ocean Point Road. The eastern edge extends to Meadow Brook. Lobster Cove Road marks the southeasternmost part of the area.
Via Route 27, Boothbay Harbor is about 13 miles (21 km) south of Wiscasset. The entire area of the CDP is about 0.85 square miles (2.2 square kilometers), and it's all land.
