Borja Vivas Jiménez (born 26 May 1984) is a Spanish shot putter. The shot put is an athletics event where athletes throw a heavy metal ball, called a "shot," as far as they can. Borja has represented Spain in many major competitions. He competed in the 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics. He also took part in four outdoor and three indoor World Championships. His biggest success was winning a silver medal at the 2014 European Championships.

Early Career and First Medals
Borja started competing in big events when he was young. In 2003, he was 10th at the European Junior Championships. His first major medal was a silver at the 2006 Ibero-American Championships in Puerto Rico. Two years later, in 2008, he won a gold medal at the Ibero-American Championships in Chile.
