Borsele is a special area in the southwestern Netherlands. It is located on a piece of land called Zuid-Beveland. The name Borsele comes from the local language, Zeelandic, where it is called Bossele.
Even though the area is called Borsele (with one 's'), there is also a village named Borssele (with two 's') inside it. This can be a bit confusing! Borsele is mostly known for its power station and a place where radioactive waste is stored safely.
