History of Boshruyeh
Boshruyeh has many old buildings. These buildings show that the city has been around for at least 700 years. Here are some famous historical places:
Ancient Buildings in Boshruyeh
- Qal'eye Dokhtar (meaning "Young Woman's Castle"): This very old fort sits on top of a mountain. It is west of the city. People believe this large building was part of the government during the Ismāīlī time.
- Hosseynie Haj Ali Ashraf: This building has a special design from India. It is used for religious mourning events. These events happen during the month of Muharram.
- Masjed Mian Deh (meaning "Center-City Mosque"): This mosque is about 400 years old. It is a central place for prayer.
- Sarāy-e Serke: This is an old and simple house. It is also used for religious mourning events.

Boshruyeh is located between the cities of Ferdows and Tabas. It is near the edge of the Dasht-e Kavir desert. There are also old villages close by. These include Aresk, Raqqeh, Korond, Neigenan, and Ghaniabad.
