History of Brandsville
Brandsville was officially started in 1883. It was named after Michael Brand. He was the first owner of the land where the city was built. A post office opened in Brandsville in the same year.
Geography and Location
Brandsville is in the southeastern part of Howell County. It is located along U.S. Route 63. This road is southeast of West Plains. Brandsville is also very close to the border of Oregon County.
