This community is in the northeastern part of St. Lawrence County. It sits in the southwestern corner of the town of Brasher. To its west is Winthrop, and to the south is the town of Lawrence.

The St. Regis River

Brasher Falls is built on both sides of the St. Regis River. This river flows north through the hamlet, dropping about 25 feet (7.6 meters) in elevation. It continues its journey to join the St. Lawrence River in Quebec, Canada.

Getting Around Brasher Falls

New York State Route 11C is a main road that goes through Brasher Falls. This road leads southwest through Winthrop for about 4 miles (6.4 km) to connect with U.S. Route 11 in Stockholm Center. If you head east and south for about 7 miles (11 km), Route 11C will rejoin Route 11 at Coteys Corner in Lawrence.
