Bruce Harold Broughton, born on March 8, 1945, is an American composer. He writes music for orchestras, films, TV shows, and video games. He has created many famous soundtracks throughout his long career.

Bruce Broughton also composed the well-known fanfare for 20th Century Fox in 1994. He even conducted the music for the Cinergi Pictures logo. He has won ten Emmy Awards for his TV work. He was also nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Score for a movie. Today, Broughton teaches music composition at UCLA.
