William Bruce Mageean Lansbury (born January 12, 1930 – died February 13, 2017) was a talented English-American television producer. He worked in TV for over 30 years, from the 1960s to the 1990s. Bruce Lansbury was famous for helping create many popular shows. These included The Wild Wild West, Mission: Impossible, Knight Rider, and Murder, She Wrote.

Bruce Lansbury's Early Life
Bruce Lansbury was born in London, England. His grandfather was George Lansbury, a well-known leader of the Labour Party in the UK. Bruce was also the younger brother of the famous actress Angela Lansbury. In 1954, he became a citizen of the United States.
His Career in Television
Bruce Lansbury started his career in television in 1953. However, he became much more active in the 1960s. He officially retired in 1996. But he came back in 2003 to write a TV movie script for Murder, She Wrote.
Producing Popular TV Shows
Bruce Lansbury was a producer for many exciting TV series. He produced 69 episodes of The Wild Wild West between 1966 and 1969. He also produced 38 episodes of Mission: Impossible from 1969 to 1972.
He also worked on other well-known shows. These included Wonder Woman and Knight Rider. He was also an executive producer for the science fiction series The Fantastic Journey.
