Bruce Wallrodt was born in Bunbury, Western Australia, a city in Western Australia. He went to South Bunbury Primary School and Newton Moore Senior High School. After school, he worked as a fitter and turner. This is a type of skilled worker who makes and fixes machines. When he was 29, Bruce had a serious health issue that affected his spine. This meant he became paraplegic, which means he couldn't move his legs.

1988 Seoul Paralympics

At the 1988 Seoul Games in South Korea, Bruce won two gold medals! He won gold in the Men's Shot Put and the Men's Javelin events. He also earned a bronze medal in the Men's Discus event.

1990 World Championships

In 1990, Bruce competed at the World Championships and Games for the Disabled in Assen, Netherlands. He continued his winning streak, taking home gold medals in both the Men's Shot Put and Discus events.

1992 Barcelona Paralympics
