This diner was in Bridgewater, Pennsylvania, a small town near Pittsburgh. His dad taught him many secrets to running a successful food business.
In July 1989, Bruce Reed opened his own ice cream shop. It was right next door to his parents' diner. At first, it was part of another ice cream company called Handel's. But in October 1990, Bruce decided to make his shop unique. He changed the name to Bruster's.
