Bryant Kevin Dunston Jr. is a professional basketball player. He was born on May 28, 1986, in the United States. He also plays for the Armenian national team. Bryant is 6 feet 8 inches tall and plays as a center. He currently plays for Olimpia Milano in Italy.
Bryant Dunston has won the EuroLeague Best Defender award twice. He also played in the EuroLeague Final in 2015 with Olympiacos. In the 2011–12 season, he was the best rebounder in the Israeli Basketball Premier League. In 2017, he was chosen for the All-EuroLeague Second Team.

Early Life and School
Bryant Dunston was born in southern Kentucky. He grew up in LeFrak City, Queens, New York. He went to St. John's Preparatory High School.
College Basketball Career
Dunston played college basketball at Fordham University for the Fordham Rams. He was named to the First Team All-Metropolitan and the Atlantic 10 Conference All-Defensive Team. He also made the Second Team All-Atlantic 10 Conference.
During his time in college, Dunston played in almost all of Fordham's games. He started in 118 out of 120 games. He finished his college career as one of Fordham's top players. He was second in total points with 1,832. He was third in total rebounds with 993. He also became Fordham's all-time leader in blocked shots with 294 blocks.
Professional Basketball Journey
After college, Dunston started his professional career. He first played for Mobis Phoebus in the Korean Basketball League. In 2010, he joined the Greek League team Aris. He left that team in February 2011.
After leaving Aris, he played for Bnei HaSharon in the Israeli League. Then, for the 2011–12 season, he joined Hapoel Holon. During that season, he was the top rebounder in the Israeli Basketball Premier League.
In the summer of 2012, there were talks that Dunston might sign with the NBA team Brooklyn Nets. However, he decided to join the Italian team Pallacanestro Varese instead.
Playing for Olympiacos
On July 9, 2013, Bryant Dunston signed a two-year contract with Olympiacos in Greece. In his first EuroLeague season, he played very well. He averaged 10.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.1 steals per game. He also led the league in blocks with 1.3 per game. Olympiacos lost in the quarter-finals of the EuroLeague that year. On May 6, he was named the EuroLeague Best Defender for the season.
He won the EuroLeague Best Defender award again on May 6, 2015. This was his second time winning it in a row.
Time with Anadolu Efes
On June 23, 2015, Dunston signed a two-year contract with the Turkish team Anadolu Efes. He extended his contract with them on May 18, 2017, for another two years.
On May 23, 2019, he signed yet another two-year contract extension. He signed another extension on July 26, 2020, which included an option for an extra year. On November 6, he had to take a break from playing for a month because of an eye injury.
On April 29, 2023, Dunston was in a car accident in Istanbul. His car got stuck under a large truck. Luckily, he only had minor injuries. Anadolu Efes announced that he was in good health and being watched by doctors.
After eight seasons with Anadolu Efes, Dunston left the team on June 29, 2023.
Joining Virtus Bologna
On August 25, 2023, Dunston signed a contract with the Italian team Virtus Bologna. The contract was for one year with an option for a second year. On September 24, 2023, Virtus Bologna won their fourth Supercup. They beat Olimpia Milano in the semifinals and then Germani Brescia in the final game.
Playing for Žalgiris Kaunas
On July 17, 2024, Dunston signed a one-year deal with Žalgiris Kaunas. This team plays in the Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL) and the EuroLeague. He left the Lithuanian club on July 11, 2025.

Bryant Dunston joined Olimpia Milano in Italy in 2025. He is currently playing for this team.
Playing for His Country
On June 16, 2015, Bryant Dunston was considered to play for the Slovenian national basketball team. This was for the EuroBasket 2015 tournament. However, he did not get a Slovenian passport in time, so he could not play for Slovenia.
In June 2016, Dunston went to Yerevan to play for the senior Armenian national basketball team. He played in the 2016 FIBA European Championship for Small Countries for Armenia.
