Bryant Kevin Dunston Jr. (born May 28, 1986) is an American-born basketball player who also plays for Armenia. He plays as a center for Žalgiris Kaunas in Lithuania. He is also part of the Armenian national team.
Bryant Dunston is known for being a great defender. He has won the EuroLeague Best Defender award twice. He also helped his teams reach the EuroLeague Final in 2015. In 2017, he was chosen for the All-EuroLeague Second Team.

Early Life and Family
Bryant Dunston was born in Kentucky and grew up in Queens, New York. He went to St. John's Preparatory High School. His uncle, Shawon Dunston, was a professional baseball player.
College Basketball Career
Bryant played college basketball for the Fordham Rams at Fordham University. He was a very important player for his team.
He played in almost all of Fordham's games during his college years. He ended his college career as the second-highest scorer in Fordham's history. He was also third in total rebounds and the all-time leader in blocked shots.
Professional Basketball Journey
After college, Bryant Dunston started his professional career. He played for different teams around the world.
He first played for Mobis Phoebus in South Korea. Then, he moved to Greece to play for Aris. After that, he played for two teams in Israel, Bnei HaSharon and Hapoel Holon. In 2012, he was the top rebounder in the Israeli Basketball Premier League.
He then joined Pallacanestro Varese in Italy. There were even talks about him possibly joining the NBA's Brooklyn Nets.
Playing for Olympiacos
In 2013, Bryant signed with Olympiacos, a famous team in Greece. In his first year in the EuroLeague, he was a top player. He averaged 10.3 points and 5.3 rebounds per game. He also led the league in blocks.
In 2014, he was named the EuroLeague Best Defender. He won this award again in 2015, showing how good he was at defense.
Time with Anadolu Efes
In 2015, Bryant moved to Turkey to play for Anadolu Efes. He stayed with this team for eight seasons, which is a long time for a professional player! He signed new contracts with them several times.
In 2023, Bryant was in a car accident in Istanbul. Luckily, he only had minor injuries and was in good health. He left Anadolu Efes in June 2023.
Joining Virtus Bologna
In August 2023, Bryant signed with Virtus Bologna, a strong team in Italy. Soon after joining, his team won the Italian Supercup in September 2023.
Moving to Žalgiris Kaunas
In July 2024, Bryant signed a one-year deal with Žalgiris Kaunas. This team plays in the Lithuanian Basketball League and the EuroLeague.
Playing for His Country
Bryant Dunston also plays for his national team. In 2015, he was considered to play for the Slovenian national basketball team. However, he didn't get his Slovenian passport in time.
In 2016, he went to Armenia to play for the Armenian national basketball team. He helped them win a gold medal in the 2016 FIBA European Championship for Small Countries.
