Bryant McFadden was born on November 21, 1981. He is an American former professional football player. He played as a cornerback in the National Football League (NFL). A cornerback is a defensive player who tries to stop passes.
McFadden played college football for the Florida State Seminoles. The Pittsburgh Steelers picked him in the second round of the 2005 NFL draft. He also played for the Arizona Cardinals. Bryant McFadden won two Super Bowl rings with the Steelers. These were for Super Bowl XL and Super Bowl XLIII.

Early Life and High School Football
Bryant McFadden grew up in Hollywood, Florida. He went to McArthur High School there. Many experts thought he was the best cornerback coming out of high school.
In his senior year, he was chosen for several top teams. He was a USA Today All-USA player. He also made the Parade All-America first-team. He had two interceptions and 75 tackles that year. An interception is when a defensive player catches a pass meant for an opposing player. A tackle is when a player brings down an opponent.
College Career at Florida State
McFadden played college football at Florida State University (FSU). He played as a cornerback for the FSU Seminoles. During his time there, he made 107 tackles.
He studied computer graphics in college. He also had a minor in studio art.

Playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers (First Time)
The Pittsburgh Steelers chose Bryant McFadden in the 2005 NFL Draft. He was the 62nd player picked overall. He started as a "nickel back," which is a special defensive position.
He got his first career interception in Week 5 against Jacksonville. He caught a pass in the Steelers' end zone. This play helped the Steelers get a field goal. A field goal is when a kicker scores points by kicking the ball through the uprights.
McFadden made two big plays in a playoff game in 2005. This was against the Indianapolis Colts. The Colts were trying to score. McFadden tipped away two passes meant for their wide receiver. This helped the Steelers win the game.
In his first season, he had 18 tackles and one interception. He also won his first Super Bowl XL with the Steelers.

Back with the Pittsburgh Steelers (Second Time)
In 2010, McFadden was traded back to the Steelers. The Steelers gave up a draft pick to get him back.
At the end of the 2010 season, McFadden and the Steelers played in Super Bowl XLV. They played against the Green Bay Packers. McFadden started the game and had four tackles. However, the Steelers lost the game 31–25.
He played two more seasons with the Steelers. He had 91 tackles in 29 games during this time. The Steelers released him from the team on February 8, 2012.
Broadcasting Career
Even while he was still playing football, McFadden hosted a TV show. It was called "The Hometowne Sports B-Mac Corner." He also had a weekly radio show in Pittsburgh.
After he stopped playing, McFadden joined 120 Sports. This is a digital sports network. He works there as a studio analyst, talking about sports.
McFadden has also worked as a game analyst for Fox Sports South. He has been a guest on many radio shows, including ESPN Radio.
In 2018, McFadden started working for CBS Sports HQ. He appears regularly during the NFL season. He gives his thoughts as an analyst on their football shows.
