Buckingham is a small village in Kankakee County, Illinois, United States. It's a quiet place, located about 64 miles southwest of the big city of Chicago. In 2020, about 244 people lived there.
Buckingham is part of the larger Kankakee-Bradley area. Long ago, a special train line called the Coal Branch used to start here. It went to nearby towns like Clarke City and Tracy, which are now gone.
