Budhial is a village and a local administrative area (called a union council) in the Talagang District of Pakistan's Punjab Province. It is located about 25 kilometers (15 miles) southwest of Talagang city.

History of Budhial Village
Budhial is a historic village in the Talagang area. It has been a settled town since around 1500 AD. The village is found about 20 kilometers (12 miles) from Talagang town, along the Talagang-Tamman road.
How Budhial Was Founded
The village was started by a person named Budha Khan in the early 1500s. He belonged to the Rehan family line of the Awan tribe. The first settlement was on a place called Kiran Wali Dheri. Later, Budha Khan's grandsons moved to create the Budhial village we know today.
Budhial Families and Clans
The people who are descendants of Budha Khan are known as Budhial. They are divided into different family groups or clans. These include the Agral, Mantal, Phatial, and Bamlial clans, each named after one of Budha Khan's grandsons.

Budhial has a population of about 7,000 people. Most of the people in Budhial belong to different clans of the Awan tribe. These include the Agral, Phirwal, Phatial, and Musbal clans. The Phirwal clan is the largest group in the area.

Budhial is the hometown of Captain Muhammad Nawaz. He was a two-time Asian Champion in javelin throw. He also received a special award called the Pride of Performance. A gate at the Liaquat Gymnasium in Islamabad is named after him, called Nawaz Gate.
