Bárbara Ernestina Torres (born April 11, 1971) is a talented actress from Argentina. She is well-known for her roles in TV shows like Hospital El Paisa and VidaTV. Many people also know her as Exelsa from the popular comedy series La familia P. Luche.

Bárbara Torres's Early Life and Career
Bárbara was born in Mar del Plata, a city in Argentina. When she was in high school, she studied piano and became a piano teacher. She started working at just 17 years old!
After high school, she moved to Buenos Aires. There, she went to the National School of Dramatic Art. She earned two degrees: one in Dramatic Art (which means acting) and another in Pedagogy (which means teaching, specifically theatre).
In 1998, Bárbara moved to Mexico. She first planned to work in TV commercials. However, she tried out for the TV company Televisa. She was hired to be part of La familia P. Luche, a show created by Eugenio Derbez. She worked on this funny series for ten years!
Bárbara's Theatre and TV Work
After La familia P. Luche, Bárbara continued acting. For two years, she performed in a play called Por qué las mujeres aman a los pendejos. In this play, she acted as a psychoanalyst named Inés Table. She toured all over Mexico with the play.
In 2014, she received an award in Monterrey. This was for her work in the play Claudio, ¿eres... eso?. This play was about treating everyone with respect, no matter who they are.
In 2015, Bárbara worked with Daniela Luján in Blanca Nieves: El Musical, a musical version of Snow White. She also appeared in the TV series Burócratas Inc. and the talk show Estrella2. Bárbara even had her own theatre show called The Excelsa show. She also performed in the play Caperucita Roja (Little Red Riding Hood).
In 2023, Bárbara was part of a reality TV show called La casa de los famosos México. She finished in 9th place overall.
