About Bárður Oskarsson

In 2004, he published his first book, "Ein hundur ein ketta og ein mús" (which means "A dog, a cat, and a mouse"). This book became very popular. It was later translated into French in 2006, Icelandic in 2007, Danish in 2008, and Norwegian in 2013.
Bárður Oskarsson has received many awards for his children's books. These awards come from the Faroe Islands, other Nordic countries, and Germany. He studied art at the "Skolen for Billedkunst" in Denmark from 1992 to 1993. Today, he lives in Denmark.
