The Story of Cashville Records
In 2008, the music group The Outlawz joined Cashville Records. They were a new addition alongside veteran rapper C-Bo, who had joined in January of that year.
Around late 2011, there were rumors that rapper Lil' Kim might sign with the label. She later said in an interview that she was "family" with the G-Unit camp. However, by 2012, nothing official had happened regarding her signing.
Rapper Mystikal also shared that he almost signed with Cashville Records in 2012. He received many offers during a difficult time. Cashville Records made a very good offer. But he later chose to sign with another music company, YMCMB.
In 2012, West Coast rapper C-Bo released his first album with Cashville Records. He also planned to release his second album, Orca, that same year.
After Young Buck heard Tha City Paper's mixtape called DOPaminE, he quickly signed him to Cashville Records in early 2012. In the summer of 2012, Young Buck and Tha City Paper worked together. They released a mixtape called G.a.S - Gangsta and Street. This was the first project Tha City Paper released through Cashville Records.
A new artist named Rukus 100 released his first project with the label in early 2013. It was an official mixtape called "Smokin' Out The Pound." Soon after, a DVD with the same name was released. These projects helped promote Rukus 100's first album on Cashville Records, which was called Money Hungry.
