Rufus Lee Cooper III (born March 21, 1978), known by his stage name Young Noble, was an American rapper. He was a member of Tupac Shakur's rap group, the Outlawz. Young Noble joined the Outlawz in early 1996. He was the last member added to the group by Tupac himself. This was before Tupac's passing in September 1996. Young Noble passed away on July 4, 2025, in Atlanta, Georgia.

Early Life and Music Journey

Young Noble was born in Sierra Madre, California. He spent his early years in Pasadena, a nearby city. When he was about eight or nine years old, he moved to New Jersey. There, he met Hussein Fatal and Yaki Kadafi. They would later become members of the Outlawz group.

Starting His Career

Around age 16, Young Noble moved back to California. He lived with his sister in Rancho Cucamonga. He first appeared on Tupac Shakur's album, The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory. He was featured on songs like "Bomb First (My Second Reply)" and "Hail Mary". He also appeared on "Life of an Outlaw" and "Just Like Daddy".

Later Projects

On December 21, 1999, another album by Tupac, Still I Rise, was released. This album included music recorded with Tupac. It also featured one solo song by Young Noble. He contributed vocals to several tracks on this album.

Young Noble and the Outlawz later announced new music. They planned to release two mixtapes. These were called Outlaw Rydahz Vol. 1 and Outlaw Nation. Outlaw Rydahz Vol. 1 came out in March 2012. Outlaw Nation was released in October 2012. Young Noble shared that these mixtapes would feature artists who influenced him. They would also include artists who worked with Tupac Shakur. This included Thug Life, which was Tupac's group before the Outlawz. Other artists like Money B from Digital Underground and B-Legit were also featured.

Passing Away

Young Noble passed away on July 4, 2025. He was at his home in Atlanta, Georgia.
