Caesars Head is a small community located high up on a mountain called Caesars Head. It's in Greenville County, South Carolina, in the United States. This area is known as a "census-designated place" (CDP), which means it's a special area the government counts for population.
In 2020, the census showed that 84 people lived in Caesars Head. This community is in the northwestern part of Greenville County. It's about 2 miles (3.2 km) south of the border with North Carolina.
The highest point of Caesars Head mountain is 3,208 feet (978 meters) tall. Most homes in the community are built at elevations between 2,800 and 3,200 feet (853 to 975 meters) above sea level. A large part of the community is actually inside Caesars Head State Park, a beautiful natural area.
You can reach Caesars Head using U.S. Route 276, also known as Geer Highway. This road goes north about 15 miles (24 km) to Brevard, North Carolina. If you head southeast, it's about 31 miles (50 km) to the city of Greenville.

On the other hand, the coldest temperature ever recorded was a very chilly -19°F (-28°C). This extreme cold happened on January 21, 1985. It's actually the coldest temperature ever recorded anywhere in South Carolina!
