Calaceite (pronounced kala-THAY-ee-teh in Spanish) or Calaceit (pronounced kala-SAYT in Catalan) is a small town in Spain. It's located in the Matarraña area, which is part of the province of Teruel in the region of Aragon. In 2018, about 1,011 people lived there.
Calaceite is known for its many old buildings that have amazing architecture. You can also find the ruins of an ancient Iberian village called Sant Antoni nearby. This town is special because it's part of an area in Aragon where people speak Catalan, a language similar to Spanish.

Tasty Treats
One of the most famous treats from Calaceite are the flaonets de Calaceit. These are small, delicious pastries. They are filled with sweet pumpkin jam and honey. A famous painter named Salvador Dalí loved these flaonets very much!
