California's 42nd congressional district is a special area in the state of California. People who live in this district vote for someone to represent them in the U.S. House of Representatives. This person is called a representative.
The current representative for this district is Ken Calvert, who is a member of the Republican Party.
The 42nd district is located in Riverside County. This area is part of the Inland Empire. Some of the cities in this district include Eastvale, Norco, Corona, Lake Elsinore, Menifee, Wildomar, Murrieta, and parts of Temecula.
Choosing a Representative
