Camden Haven is a beautiful coastal area in New South Wales, Australia. It's located on the Mid North Coast, about 30 kilometers south of the larger town of Port Macquarie. The main feature is the Camden Haven River, which flows into the Tasman Sea, creating a lovely natural harbor.
Camden Haven is also the name for a group of towns and villages found along the harbor and in the nearby countryside.

Who Lived Here First?
For over 40,000 years, the Birpai people, also known as Birrbay, have been the traditional owners of this land. They have a deep connection to the area.
Towns and Villages
The biggest town in the Camden Haven area is Laurieton. It sits on the western side of the harbor and is the main shopping and business center.
Other communities right near the harbor include:
- North Haven
- Dunbogan
Further inland, you'll find:
- Lakewood, a newer residential area west of Laurieton.
- The village of Kew, located on the main Pacific Highway.
- The village of Kendall, which is on the North Coast railway line.
