History of Cameron
The town of Cameron got its name from Clan Cameron, a famous group of people from Scotland.
Two important old houses in Cameron are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. These are the Haigler House and the Ulmer-Summers House. This means they are special and protected because of their history.
