Where is Campbell?
Campbell is in the eastern part of Steuben County. It sits on the northeast side of the Cohocton River. This river flows southeast and joins the Chemung River. The Chemung River is part of the larger Susquehanna River system.
Roads and Travel
Two important roads go through Campbell. New York State Route 415 runs along the northeast edge of the community. Interstate 86 also passes through Campbell, just east of its center. You can get onto Interstate 86 from Exit 41, which is Main Street.
These roads connect Campbell to other towns. Interstate 86 and Route 415 lead southeast about 10 miles (16 km) to Corning. They also go northwest about 11 miles (18 km) to Bath.
