Capital Dock is a very tall building in the Dublin Docklands area of Dublin, Ireland. It has 22 floors and is used for both homes and offices. This makes it a "mixed-use" building. It stands at the corner of Sir John Rogerson's Quay and Britain Quay.
The company Kennedy Wilson built Capital Dock. They bought the land in 2012, and the building was finished in 2018. When it was completed, the 79-meter (259-foot) tower became the tallest building in the Republic of Ireland. It was also the third tallest building on the entire island of Ireland.

Building Capital Dock
The Capital Dock project was built on a site that had been planned for a different building. This earlier project was called the U2 Tower. Some parts of the U2 Tower, like its concrete foundations, were already built. Three floors below street level and one above were finished before the U2 Tower project stopped.
How the Project Started
In 2012, Kennedy Wilson bought the land where the U2 Tower was supposed to be. They started building Capital Dock at the end of 2014.
Selling Parts of the Building
As the building was being constructed, parts of it were sold or rented out.
- In May 2017, Kennedy Wilson sold one of the office buildings, called 200 Capital Dock, to JPMorgan. This was a special type of sale where JPMorgan paid for it as it was being built.
- In December 2017, the company Indeed signed a 20-year lease. This means Indeed agreed to rent all of buildings 100 and 300 Capital Dock for two decades.
Shops and Cafes
Capital Dock also has several shops and places to eat. These include Fresh, BrewDog, Freshii, and the Art of Coffee.
