He played for many teams in the Canadian Soccer League and the USL A-League. Carl also played for the Canadian national team. Carl Fletcher's Club Soccer Career
Carl Fletcher started his professional soccer journey with the Toronto Blizzard. This team was part of the Canadian Soccer League. After that, he played for the Toronto Rockets in 1994. This was the only year that club existed.
Playing for Montreal Impact
In 1996, Carl played an indoor season with the Toronto Shooting Stars. When that season ended, he joined the Montreal Impact. He played a total of 68 games for them. In 1999, he signed with the Hampton Roads Mariners and played there for two years. Carl returned to the Montreal Impact in April 2001.
Winning the A-League Championship
After playing half a season with the Impact, Carl moved to the Rochester Raging Rhinos in August 2001. With Rochester, he helped the team reach the playoffs. They even won the A-League championship that year.
Later Club Teams
In 2002, Carl Fletcher joined the Atlanta Silverbacks. He played there for two seasons. His best year with them was 2002, when the team made it to the first round of the playoffs.
