Carlos Loret de Mola Álvarez (born October 17, 1976) is a well-known journalist from Mexico. He was born in Mérida, Yucatán. Today, he hosts a radio show called Así las cosas con Carlos Loret de Mola on W Radio. He also writes for a newspaper called El Universal. In 2020, he started a digital platform called LatinUS. This platform creates news stories about important investigations.

Carlos Loret de Mola comes from a family of journalists. His father is Rafael Loret de Mola, a Mexican writer and political journalist. His grandfather was Carlos Loret de Mola Mediz, who used to be the governor of Yucatan. Carlos Loret de Mola studied Economics at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM).
