Carol Kenyon (born in 1959) is a talented British singer. She is famous for her powerful voice on many hit songs. One of her most well-known performances is on the song "Temptation" by the band Heaven 17. This song was a huge hit in the UK in 1983, reaching number two on the music charts!
When "Temptation" was re-released in 1992 with a new remix, Carol's vocals were still featured, and it reached number 4. She also sang on "Don't Waste My Time" by Paul Hardcastle, which was another top 10 hit in 1986. Carol has also released her own songs like "Warrior Woman" and "Dance with Me."

Growing Up with Music
When Carol Kenyon was a child, she loved to sing and dance. Her family encouraged her to take lessons. She also entered many arts contests. Carol played the piano and enjoyed listening to her father's jazz records.
One day, while singing with her school choir, a young musician named Guy Barker heard her. He was very impressed. Guy encouraged Carol to take her singing more seriously.
Later, Guy Barker invited her to a performance by the National Youth Jazz Orchestra (NYJO). After hearing her sing, NYJO asked Carol to join them. She became their first regular band singer at just 14 years old!
