Casa is a small town located in Perry County, Arkansas, in the United States. It sits in the central part of Arkansas. This town first grew because of important local industries. People mined coal, harvested timber from forests, and grew cotton. These activities helped the town thrive in its early days.
However, a big economic downturn called the Great Depression happened. This event caused many people to leave Casa. The town's economy faced challenges and did not fully recover its earlier size. According to the 2020 census, Casa had a population of 120 people.
Casa is situated between the towns of Ola and Perry. It is also the westernmost town in the larger Little Rock–North Little Rock–Conway Metropolitan Statistical Area. This means it's part of a bigger region that includes several cities and towns.
