Casasimarro is a small town, also called a municipality, in Spain. It is located in the Province of Cuenca. This province is part of the autonomous community of Castile-La Mancha.
The town is about 750 metres (2,460 ft) above sea level. It has a continental climate. This means summers can be hot, around 40 °C (104 °F), and winters can be cold, sometimes reaching −10 °C (14 °F). As of 2018, about 3,072 people live in Casasimarro. The area of the municipality is about 50 square kilometers.

The House of Simarro
The 1598 document says that a village was started in 1470. This village was called "Casa de los Simarro." This means "House of the Simarros." The name Casasimarro comes from this old name.
