What's at the Station?

Caulfield station has four platforms where trains stop. Two of these platforms form an "island" in the middle of the station.

  • Platform 1 has a large building made of red bricks.
  • Platforms 2 and 3 (the island platforms) share a big red brick building. This building includes a waiting room and a place to buy tickets.
  • Platform 4 also has a large red brick building. Country trains, called V/Line services, usually leave from this platform.

Inside the waiting room, there's a large machine where you can buy most types of train tickets. It accepts both notes and coins. Smaller ticket machines are also available at the entrances to platforms 1 and 4.
