Cebollatí is a small village in the Rocha Department of eastern Uruguay. It is the most northern town in this department.

Where is Cebollatí Located?
Cebollatí is found on Route 15. It is about 64 kilometers (40 miles) northeast of Lascano. The village sits on the south bank of the Cebollatí River. It is also about 14 kilometers (9 miles) west of Lake Merín. The border with Brazil runs through the middle of Lake Merín.
A smaller road, about 7.5 kilometers (4.7 miles) long, connects Cebollatí to another town. This town is called General Enrique Martínez. It is in the Treinta y Tres Department. You can cross the river using a small cable ferry to reach it.
When Was Cebollatí Founded?
Cebollatí officially became a "Pueblo" (which means village) on October 28, 1919. This happened because of a special law called Ley Nº 7.019.
