Cengiz Ünder (born on 14 July 1997) is a professional footballer from Turkey. He plays as a winger or forward. Cengiz currently plays for the Süper Lig club Fenerbahçe. He also plays for the Turkey national team.

Club Career
Starting Out
Cengiz Ünder started his professional football journey at Altınordu. Later, he moved to Başakşehir. He had a great first season with Başakşehir. He scored 7 goals in 32 games in the Süper Lig. This helped him become one of the best players in the league.
Playing for Roma
On 16 July 2017, Cengiz joined Serie A club Roma in Italy. He scored his first goal for Roma on 4 February 2018. This was in a 1–0 win against Hellas Verona. Later that month, he scored in his first Champions League game. He became the youngest Turkish player ever to score in the Champions League. In his first season with Roma, he scored 7 goals in 26 league games. He also scored 1 goal in 5 Champions League matches. On 2 October 2018, he scored and assisted in a 5-0 Champions League win.
Loan to Leicester City
On 20 September 2020, Ünder joined Premier League club Leicester City. This was a loan for one season. He played his first game as a substitute in a match against West Ham United. On 25 October, he helped Leicester win against Arsenal. He assisted Jamie Vardy's winning goal. On 10 December, Ünder scored his first goal for Leicester. This was in a UEFA Europa League game against AEK Athens.
Moving to Marseille
On 4 July 2021, Ünder moved to France. He joined Ligue 1 club Marseille on a loan deal. He played his first game for Marseille on 8 August 2021. Marseille won that match 3–2 against Montpellier. On 6 April 2022, Marseille signed Ünder permanently from Roma. He signed a five-year contract with the club.
Joining Fenerbahçe
On 13 August 2023, Ünder signed a four-year contract with Süper Lig club Fenerbahçe. He made his debut for the team on 21 August. This was in a 2-0 win against Samsunspor. On 20 December 2023, he scored his first goal for Fenerbahçe. This happened in a 4–3 win against Kayserispor. On 7 January 2024, he scored four goals in one game. Fenerbahçe won that match 5–1 against Istanbulspor.
Loan to Los Angeles FC
On 20 February 2025, Cengiz Ünder joined Major League Soccer team Los Angeles FC. This was a loan until the end of the season. He made his debut on 12 March, getting an assist in a CONCACAF Champions Cup match. On 29 March, he scored his first goal for the club. This was in a 3-2 loss to San Diego FC.
International Career
Cengiz Ünder played for Turkey's youth teams. He represented the U18 and U19 levels. He also played for the Turkey U21 national team.
In November 2016, Ünder was called up to the senior Turkey squad. He scored his first goal for his country in March 2017. This was in a friendly game against Moldova. On 14 May 2021, Ünder was chosen for Turkey's squad for the UEFA Euro 2020 tournament.
