The Story of Central
Central was first settled a long time ago, even before the year 1910. In 1935, it officially became an incorporated town. This meant it had its own local government. However, in the 1960s, Central was disincorporated. This means it stopped being an official town with its own government.
The community was given the name "Central" because of its location. It was right in the middle of two other places: Enterprise and Veyo.
