María Isabel "Chábeli" Iglesias Preysler, born on September 3, 1971, is a Spanish journalist and a well-known public figure. She is famous for being the daughter of the popular Spanish singer Julio Iglesias and Filipina socialite Isabel Preysler. Chábeli is also the older sister of singers Julio Iglesias Jr. and Enrique Iglesias.

Early Life and Career
Chábeli Iglesias appeared on the covers of many entertainment magazines from a young age. Her family was very popular in the entertainment world. In the 1980s, after a safety concern for her family, her father, Julio Iglesias, decided to move Chábeli and her brothers to Miami in the United States. They lived there safely.
During the 1990s, Chábeli appeared on several American talk shows. She later had her own television show called El Show de Chábeli. This show was broadcast on Univision, a Spanish-language television network.
Family Life
Chábeli Iglesias was married to Ricardo Bofill Jr. He is the son of the Spanish architect Ricardo Bofill. Their marriage ended after three years.
In June 1999, Chábeli was involved in a car accident in Los Angeles, California. She needed to go to the hospital. She was a passenger in the car when it rolled over.
On October 8, 2001, she married businessman Christian Fernando Altaba. Their son, Alejandro Altaba, was born early on January 14, 2002. Alejandro's godparents are Chábeli's brother, Julio Iglesias Jr., and her half-sister, Ana Boyer.
In February 2012, Chábeli announced that she and her husband had welcomed a daughter. Their daughter, Sofia Altaba, was born on January 4, 2012. Chábeli had kept this pregnancy a secret.
