Charles Edward Johnson, born on May 2, 1984, is a former American football player. He played as a guard and offensive tackle. He played college football for the Oklahoma State University Cowboys. The Indianapolis Colts picked him in the 2006 NFL draft. He won Super Bowl XLI with the Colts against the Chicago Bears.

Early Life and College Football
Charlie Johnson went to Sherman High School in Sherman, Texas. He played football there.
At Oklahoma State University, he started as a tight end. Later, he changed positions to an offensive tackle. This change helped him prepare for his professional career.

Indianapolis Colts Career
The Indianapolis Colts chose Charlie Johnson in the sixth round of the 2006 NFL draft. As a rookie, he played in one game as a starter. He filled in for an injured player. He also played a part in Super Bowl XLI, which the Colts won.
In his second year, Johnson had a chance to become the starting left tackle. He ended up starting 10 out of 16 games. He played both left tackle and right tackle.
In his third season, Johnson moved to play left guard. He started all 16 games that year. He was one of only two offensive linemen to play in every game. The next year, he became the starting left tackle. He showed great improvement in his playing.
Minnesota Vikings Career
On August 1, 2011, Charlie Johnson signed with the Minnesota Vikings. He played left tackle during his first full season with the Vikings.
After the team drafted a new tackle, Johnson moved to left guard. He continued to play an important role on the offensive line. On February 27, 2015, Johnson was released by the Vikings.
Life After Football
As of 2017, Charlie Johnson became a coach. He coaches the offensive line for Stillwater High School. This school is in Stillwater, Oklahoma. He is currently the Offensive Coordinator and Offensive Line Coach there.
Personal Life
On December 18, 2012, Charlie Johnson appeared on a TV show called Ink Master. He got a tattoo of a dragon on his right arm.
