Charles Miller (born on March 18, 1976) is a Scottish former footballer. He played as an attacking midfielder. Charlie started his career at Rangers, a famous Scottish club.
In 1995, he was named the SPFA Young Player of the Year, showing his great talent early on. After playing for English clubs like Leicester City and Watford, Charlie joined Dundee United in 2000. He played there for four seasons.
Later, he moved to Norway to play for SK Brann from 2004 to 2006. With Brann, he helped the team win the Norwegian Cup in 2004. Charlie also played in Belgium and Australia before returning to Scotland in 2011 to play for Clyde.

Club Career
Starting in Football
Charlie Miller was born in Glasgow, Scotland. He grew up in the Castlemilk area of the city. He started playing football at a young age, introduced to the sport by his uncles.
When he was 11, he joined the youth team at Rangers. He left school early to focus on his football career with the club.
Time at Rangers
Charlie made his first team debut for Rangers in 1993 when he was just 17. He quickly showed how skilled he was. He played for the Rangers team that won many titles in a row under manager Walter Smith.
He helped Rangers win three Scottish Premier Division titles between 1995 and 1997. He also won the Scottish League Cup in 1996. By the time he was 21, Charlie had played in big UEFA Champions League matches against teams like Juventus and Borussia Dortmund.
Playing in England and for Dundee United
After his time at Rangers, Charlie went to England. He was loaned to Leicester City in 1999. Later that year, he joined Watford for £450,000. He played 15 league games for Watford.
In 2000, Charlie moved back to Scotland to play for Dundee United on a free transfer. He had a good four years at Tannadice, becoming a fan favorite. He played 135 games for Dundee United, which was the most he played for any single club in his career.
Adventures in Norway and Belgium
In May 2004, Charlie left Dundee United to join SK Brann in Norway. He quickly became popular with the fans in Bergen because of his great technique and passing skills.
He helped Brann win the Norwegian Football Cup Final in 2004. He played regularly in 2005 and 2006. In January 2007, his contract with Brann ended.
On February 9, 2007, Charlie signed with Lierse S.K. in Belgium. He scored his first goals for Lierse in April 2007. He signed a three-year contract but left less than a year later.
Playing in Australia
On July 31, 2008, Charlie Miller signed a two-year deal with Brisbane Roar, an A-League club in Australia. He had an amazing start to the 2008–09 season.
He scored four goals in the first four games, setting a new A-League record for the best start to a season. In December 2009, Charlie's contract with Brisbane Roar ended by agreement.
After leaving Brisbane Roar, Charlie joined Gold Coast United on a short-term contract.
Back to Scotland
In February 2011, Charlie signed with Clyde until the end of the season. He played 5 games before being released.
After retiring from professional football, Charlie started a youth football academy program in Castlemilk, his hometown. He also played for a local amateur team.
International Career
Charlie Miller played one game for the Scotland national team in 2001. This was a 1–1 draw against Poland.
Several other players, including Kenny Miller and Andy McLaren, also made their Scotland debuts in that same game. The Scotland manager at the time, Craig Brown, praised Charlie's talent.
