Charlotte Le Bon, born on September 4, 1986, is a talented Canadian actress and director. She lives in Paris, France. Many people know her from the French TV show Le Grand Journal. She has also starred in popular movies like Yves Saint Laurent, The Hundred-Foot Journey, and The Walk.
In 2022, Charlotte Le Bon directed her first full-length movie, Falcon Lake. This film was shown at the famous Cannes Film Festival and the Toronto International Film Festival. She even won an award for it! She received the Emerging Canadian Director award at the 2022 Vancouver International Film Festival.

Growing Up and Early Career
Charlotte Le Bon was born in 1986 in Montreal, Canada. Her parents, Brigitte Paquette and Richard Le Bon, are both actors. Her stepfather, Frank Schorpion, is also an actor.
After studying visual arts, Charlotte started modeling when she was 16. At 19, she left Canada to model in other countries. She spent time in Tokyo and New York City before settling in Paris in 2010. However, she didn't really enjoy modeling. She once said she "really hated it."
Becoming a TV Star and Actress
After modeling, Charlotte Le Bon got a job on a French TV show called Le Grand Journal. She was known as "Miss Météo" and gave daily weather reports. These reports were actually funny comedy skits that she wrote herself!
The TV channel wanted her to stay for another season. But Charlotte decided to try acting in movies instead. Her first movie role was in a French comedy in 2012.
Big Roles in Movies
In 2014, Charlotte played a famous fashion muse named Victoire Doutreleau in the movie Yves Saint Laurent. This role was a big success and she was nominated for a César Award, which is a major film award in France.
Her first English-speaking movie was The Hundred-Foot Journey in 2014. In this romantic comedy, she played a chef-in-training alongside the famous actress Helen Mirren.
In 2015, Charlotte starred with Joseph Gordon-Levitt in The Walk. This movie tells the true story of Philippe Petit's amazing tightrope walk between the Twin Towers in 1974. Also in 2015, she lent her voice to the character of Joy in the French versions of the Pixar movie Inside Out.
In 2016, Charlotte appeared in several films. She was in The Promise with Christian Bale and Oscar Isaac. Besides acting and directing, Charlotte Le Bon is also a talented artist and street artist. She started by drawing for an online magazine.
In 2011, she worked with French artist JR on a project called Inside Out Project. They put up 2500 black and white portraits in Lyon, France. She also creates interactive street art, like moons on strings that people can unhook.
In 2016, she had an art show in Paris called "One Bedroom Hotel on the Moon." She explained that this show was about mixing sadness and hope.
