Charmaine Jordan (born on May 14, 1988), known as Charm La'Donna, is an amazing American dancer and choreographer. She is famous for her work with many popular music artists. Some of these artists include Kendrick Lamar, Rosalía, Dua Lipa, and Selena Gomez. Charm La'Donna also creates her own music.

Charm La'Donna's Early Life and Training

Charmaine Jordan was born in Compton, California, on May 14, 1988. Her mother, Debbie, raised her. Charm La'Donna often talks about how her mother, grandmother, and other women in Compton helped her succeed.

When she was just three years old, Charm La'Donna knew she wanted to dance. She started dancing at a local community center. Later, she trained at Regina's School of the Arts and Miss Monica's Dance School. At age ten, she met Fatima Robinson during a music video audition. Fatima became a very important mentor to Charm La'Donna. Charm La'Donna went to the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACSHA). She finished high school there in 2006. She also earned a degree in world arts and culture from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

Charm La'Donna's Career Highlights

During her last year of high school, Charm La'Donna got a big opportunity. Singer Madonna hired her as a backup dancer for her "Confessions Tour." After this tour, Charm La'Donna worked as an assistant choreographer for Fatima Robinson. She helped with many music videos and TV shows. She even worked on Super Bowl halftime shows while studying at UCLA.

Her work with Fatima Robinson led her to meet rapper Kendrick Lamar. They worked together on his performance at the 2015 BET Awards. ..... She was also the only female dancer on that tour. In 2018, she choreographed and danced in his opening performance at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards.

Charm La'Donna became even more well-known for her choreography. She created dances for music videos and live shows for singers like Rosalía, Selena Gomez, Dua Lipa, and Meghan Trainor. Her choreography for the song "Con Altura" by Rosalía, J Balvin, and El Guincho won her an MTV Video Music Award for Best Choreography.

In 2020, Charm La'Donna started making her own music again. She signed a music contract with Epic Records in February. She then released her first two songs, "So & So" and "Westside." After choreographing the Weeknd's Super Bowl LV halftime show, she released her first album, called La'Donna, on April 9, 2021.
