Playing in College
Chevon Troutman went to college at the University of Pittsburgh. He played basketball for the Pittsburgh Panthers from 2001 to 2005. During his time there, he became a very important player for his team. In his final year, 2005, he was even named to the First-team All-Big East. This means he was one of the best players in his college league.
Professional Career
After college, Chevon Troutman started his professional basketball career in 2005. He played for teams in many different countries. He started in the Dominican Republic with teams like CDP Domingo Paulino Santiago and Metros de Santiago.
Playing in Europe
Chevon Troutman spent many years playing basketball in Europe. He played for teams in Italy, France, Germany, and Poland.
- Italy: He played for Basket Livorno (2005–2006) and Scandone Avellino (2009–2011).
- France: From 2006 to 2009, he played for ASVEL Basket. While there, he helped his team win the French Cup in 2008. He also helped them become French League champions in 2009. He was even chosen as a French League All-Star twice!
- Germany: He joined Bayern Munich from 2011 to 2014. With Bayern Munich, he became a German League champion in 2014. He was also named to the All-German League Team in both 2012 and 2013. In 2011, he was a German League All-Star.
- Poland: In 2014–2015, he played for Stelmet Zielona Góra. He helped them win the Polish League championship and the Polish Cup in 2015.
After his time in Poland, he played for Orléans Loiret Basket in France during the 2015–2016 season.
Return to South America
From 2016 to 2018, Chevon Troutman played for Regatas Corrientes in Argentina. This team is part of the Liga Nacional de Básquet, which is a top basketball league in Argentina.
