Chiloé Archipelago facts for kids
The Chiloé Archipelago is a group of islands found in southern Chile, within the Los Lagos Region. The biggest island in this group is called Chiloé Island, also known as Isla Grande de Chiloé.
This archipelago is home to ten different towns, or "communes," that are part of the Los Lagos Region. These towns include Ancud, Castro, Chonchi, Curaco de Vélez, Dalcahue, Puqueldón, Queilén, Quellón, Quemchi, and Quinchao.
