Where is Chilton, Texas?
Chilton is located in the western part of Falls County. A main road, U.S. Route 77, runs along its western side. This road can take you about 20 miles (32 km) north to the city of Waco. If you go south on the same road, it's about 16 miles (26 km) to Rosebud.
Another important road, Texas State Highway 7, goes right through the middle of Chilton. Traveling east on this highway, you'll reach Marlin, which is the main town of Falls County, about 10 miles (16 km) away. Going west on Highway 7, you'll find Bruceville-Eddy about 12 miles (19 km) away.

The students in Chilton attend schools in the Chilton Independent School District. This school district offers many fun activities outside of regular classes. One of the most popular activities is football. The football games are played at a place called Featherston Field. The Chilton football team has been very successful. In 2006, they even won their second state championship in the 1A division!
