Chilton County Airport (FAA LID: 02A), also known as Gragg-Wade Field, is an airport in Chilton County, Alabama, United States. It is open for public use. This means anyone can use it, not just private groups. The airport is about two km east of Clanton, Alabama. The Chilton County Airport Authority owns and runs it.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has included this airport in its plans for airports. They see it as a general aviation airport. This means it is mostly used by private planes, small charter flights, and flight training. It is not usually for big airline passenger planes.

The Runway

The airport has one main runway. It is called 8/26. This name tells pilots the direction of the runway. The runway is made of asphalt. It measures 4,008 feet (1,222 meters) long and 100 feet (30 meters) wide.

In a 12-month period ending in 2010, the airport had many plane movements. There were 23,924 general aviation flights. This means about 65 planes took off or landed each day.

Historic Gragg Field

The airport also has a special historic area. It is called the Gragg Field Historic District. This district was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2004. It includes old hangars built in 1934. These buildings show the airport's history.
