Early Life and Talents
Chloe Arnold was born in Washington, D.C.. She started modeling at age 4 for PM magazine. She began dancing when she was 6 years old. At 12, she was the star of Chloe's World, a TV documentary.
Chloe was part of Chris Bellou's National Tap Ensemble from age 10 to 13. Then, she joined Toni Lombre's Taps & Company from 13 to 18. There, she learned tap, ballet, jazz, and modern dance. In high school, she won a gold medal in an arts competition. She also played the violin in the DC Youth Orchestra. Chloe was a strong athlete, playing soccer, tennis, track and field, and cross country.
She was also a brilliant student. She won several big scholarships, like The Bill Gates Millennium Scholarship. Chloe trained in New York City with famous tap dancers like Jason Samuels Smith and Savion Glover. She also learned ballet, jazz, hip hop, salsa, and African dance. For acting, she studied at The New York Film School and with Debbie Allen.

Syncopated Ladies and Beyoncé
Chloe and her all-female tap dance group, Chloe Arnold's Syncopated Ladies, won the first Crew Battle on FOX's So You Think You Can Dance. They also created a tap dance tribute video to Beyoncé. When Beyoncé shared the video online, it was watched millions of times!
TV and Film Appearances
Chloe has appeared in many TV shows. She had a role on HBO's Boardwalk Empire. She performed at Madison Square Garden for the NY Knicks. Chloe also worked with Beyoncé on Pepsi and H&M ads. She was a guest performer on America's Got Talent, Dancing with the Stars, and So You Think You Can Dance.
She was in the dance movie Make Your Move 3D. Chloe also choreographed and starred in the opening number of the Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon in 2008. This show helped raise $65 million for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. She has also appeared on shows like Nickelodeon's The Brothers Garcia and the Discovery Channel's Time Warp.
Global Performances and Education
As a tap dance soloist, Chloe has performed in over 21 countries. She has danced at many big festivals, including the Stockholm Tap Festival and the Melbourne International Tap Festival.
Even though she was accepted by Harvard University, Chloe chose to attend Columbia University. She studied theater, film, and dance there. While at Columbia, she continued to perform professionally. She also taught dance at The Broadway Dance Center.
After graduating from Columbia University in 2002, Chloe continued to learn about directing. She was a second-unit director for music videos for famous artists like Kylie Minogue. She also directed fitness videos and her own instructional DVD called "I Love Tap".
Other Cool Projects
In 2009, Chloe Arnold started her own production company with her younger sister Maud. It's called Chloe & Maud Productions. She also has her own clothing line, Chloe's Tap Couture - I Love Tap.
