Choi Eun-sung (born 5 April 1971) is a former professional footballer from South Korea. He was a talented goalkeeper who played for many years. He is especially known for spending 15 seasons with the team Daejeon Citizen. Later in his career, he played for Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors.
Choi Eun-sung also played for the South Korea national football team. He was part of the team that played in the 2002 FIFA World Cup.

Amazing Moments in His Career
Scoring as a Goalkeeper
Choi Eun-sung made history as the first goalkeeper to score a goal in the AFC Champions League. This exciting moment happened on 9 October 2002. His team, Daejeon Citizen, was playing against a club called Monte Carlo from Macau. Daejeon Citizen won that match with a score of 5–1.
A Special Own Goal
In February 2012, Choi Eun-sung left Daejeon Citizen. He then joined Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors in March 2012. While playing for Jeonbuk, something very unusual happened. In a match against Seongnam, his teammate Lee Dong-gook accidentally scored a goal while trying to return the ball to Seongnam's goalkeeper. To show good sportsmanship, Choi Eun-sung then scored an own goal on purpose. This meant the score became fair again. Seongnam eventually won the match 2–1. This showed Choi Eun-sung's great respect for fair play.
